On November 7th, 2009 The Abbey catered an amazing wedding at La Jolla Woman’s Club for Molly. You’ve got to love this indoor venue, with a nice kitchen and great floor plan. As always, The Abbey team went extra mile to accomplish nothing less than a perfect wedding for Molly and Mark. All of the guest tables were mixed up, round versus rectangle shapes. It brought a lot of interest in the room and it kept your eyes moving. Everyone loved that idea and it made this wedding more than memorable, along with delicious menu and service.

October 31st, 2009, Wedding ceremony and reception by the cliff in Ocean View Villas in Point Loma. Exotic theme with amazing center pieces and decoration. Lampions all over the lawn were just magical and great accent to the whole evening. That night we served, grilled on the side, Tilapia crusted in pistachio. It is always heartwarming to know how happy our clients are and how we always exceed any of their expectations! Go Abbey!

Ocean View Villas
On October 29th, 2009, The Abbey served a wonderful dinner for a doctor’s conference at new venue Bohannan Estate. Fantastic view and a great layout of the whole event in Mission Hills. Five star quality menu, exceptional service, wonderful company, amazing and breath taking place. I love my job!

On October 23rd, 2009 I had governed over Coordination, at the Darlington House, for Jeremie and Tanisha’s Reception. One of my favorite venues ever. Having a reception in beautiful La Jolla, California, outside in the rose garden under the moonlight and stars, you can’t really compare with many other places. Most of the guests were from all over the country and everyone was so impressed with our all exclusive package including the limo. I can barely count the amount of the “thank you’s” that we received during the whole event.

The October 18th, 2009 wedding reception for Amanda in La Jolla, California. What a stunning bride! Wonderful evening full of love and moments that will last a lifetime! The whole evening was an up close and personal wedding experience!

On 10/17 2009, I was honored to be a part of another successful wedding here in San Diego! A beautiful ceremony and remarkable reception, with a very lovely couple, Anne & Rossel, at Ocean View Villas. Outstanding presentation, service and priceless sunset. What more could a new bride wish for in a special day. I can’t say enough how proud I am to be a part of our Abbey team!

What an event. 35 of the countries most well respected nurses and physicians on a private yacht on a beautiful San Diego evening. Chef Berardi outdid himself with a plated and served dinner of Tortilla Encrusted Tilapia, Chicken Dijon, and Vegetable en Croute with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Vegetables. Captain Greg and Linda were an absolute pleasure and their Yacht “gorgeous”. Sometimes I get this extraordinary feeling that we are truly breaking new ground in not just catering, but in event design as well. This was a PERFECT example of that. Unique venue, unique clients, SAME RESULT. It’s always nice to see our clients beyond satisfied with hugs all around. Way to go!!!!!
It was a cool fall evening in picturesque Ramona, California, just northeast of San Diego. My team and I arrived at historic Mount Woodson determined to deliver another stellar performance. Quickly and efficiently we organized and beautified the dining hall in preparation for Erin and Steve’s arrival. After a stirring service, our guests arrived to the patio bar received by venue owners Debra and Steve. Treated to two of the Abbey’s specialty hor d’oeuvres , tri-colored bruchetta and homemade pita and hummus, everyone enjoyed a beautiful sunset overlooking a mountain view. Our grand entrance, Erin adorned in white and Steve in his tux, entered to applause. Chef Berardi then proceeded to tantalize every guests taste-buds with a dynamic duo of tortilla-encrusted Tilapia and Dijon chicken. Dinner service was smooth and transitioned beautifully into an evening of great conversation and dancing . Thanks to Erin, Steve, all of their wonderful friends and family. What a pleasure and what a great team success!
