On April 15th Dr.L.M. had The Abbey Catering & Event Design put together an amazing grand opening for his surgical office located in a magnificent medical center in Hillcrest. The guests included prestigious surgeons, doctors, and dentists, and of course clients, each welcomed with a glass of Moet Chandon served from the Abbey’s custom made Champagne Tree! This unique event was catered with Dim Sum, shrimp cocktails served in martini glasses, and beef sliders with caramelized onions and blue cheese. The biggest hit of the night may have been the sushi bar and chef, who offered guests their individual requests. The 100 attending guests certainly left this grand opening with an eye opening WOW!

Spacious outdoor accommodations for an afternoon ceremony and indoor amenities for an elegant night time reception. The Open House will have many different vendors and options to help show what you are able to accomplish at this wonderful venue. A beautiful home, wonderful food, and gracious hosts… what a great combination. I was pleased to have the opportunity to Captain this unique event. A fun loving group, of mostly out of town guests, visiting San Diego for a convention, were the attendees for this party. Buses dropped the guests off at Suzanne’s AMAZING home, and the party started immediately there after. From the stationed Vegetable Crudites, Assorted Hummus’ , and Cheese and Cracker Display, to the tray-passed Filet Wellingtons, Ahi Crustinis, Cream Cheese Won tons, Skewered Jamaican Jerk Chicken, and Grilled Goat Cheese Quesadillas, the compliments seemed never ending. My congratulations to Chef Roger for the wonderful food and presentation, as well as to the spectacular staff for your wonderful service. I hope that The Abbey Catering can have the privilege of hosting your next Cocktail Party, regardless of your unique needs and budget. Thanks to ALL involved…
